The final week of the QAL is here!
The time has flown by! Week 7 of the QAL is here and it’s time to complete our quilt tops!
Quilt Top Assembly
Because our quilt blocks are large, this quilt top comes together so quickly! Your biggest consideration will need to be matching the seams for the the stitch and flip corners. Depending on the direction that you pressed the corners, you may have some bulk in your seams. To minimize this, you have the option of pressing the seams open. This will minimize the bulk and help you match your seams a bit easier as well.
Sugar Coated Stars Quilt - the Christmas Version
I am so happy with my QAL version! I used fabrics from the Cheer and Merriment Collection by Fancy That Design House for Moda Fabric! The colors are a bit traditional and a bit modern! I am in love and can’t wait to get this quilted to snuggle with!
This week’s Quilt Along Prize
